Dear Developers,

Are there any updates to the PyLith source code (installer) in the
pipeline? My group is very interested in using PyLith for our research, but
the latest release is about a year old and has many errors and broken
dependencies when building from source (at least on OSX (High) Sierra,
Xcode 8 or 9 with various combinations tried of clang, gnu compilers,
and/or intel compilers). Mpi and HDF5 are just two examples. We want to be
able to modify the source code to consider fluid flow (which others have
done before) so compiling from source is a necessity.

Thanks for all your hard work in developing this impressive software
package, and best regards,
--Joachim
