[CIG-LONG] request

Dear Hamed

Thanks. I now have a better picture of your problem.
However, let me ask you a couple of more questions to confirm whether
SNAC can handle this problem.

What would be the nature of the contact boundaries between soil and the
plate?
For example, are they no-slip or frictional contacts?

Also, how would you drive the process of "pullout"?
Would you apply a kinematic boundary condition (velocity or
displacement) on a part of the plate?
A related question is how your plate is buried.
Is it making a certain angle to the horizontal plane? Is the whole plate
completely surrounded by soil or a part of it sticking out of soil? If
you have a schematic diagram that describes your problem, it would be
the best.

I need to know the answers to all these questions because SNAC can deal
with only a specific type of problem.
For example, SNAC cannot solve a problem with frictional contacts and
will have difficulty if the configuration of your plate relative to the
soil medium requires careful meshing.

Best,
Eunseo
