[CIG-SEISMO] SPECFEM3D Cartesian model_external_values

Dear Florian, dear all,

Sounds like someone should put it back. Any idea who removed it and why?
If you can write a source code patch to put it back then please email it 
to me and I will forward it to the main developers, who can then commit 
it to the SVN server.
