[CIG-SEISMO] SPECFEM2D, CUBIT and CPML

I would like to use CPML on the 4 boundaries for a p-sv simulation, however
the implementation remains unclear when one is using CUBIT as the mesh
generator.
The only example using CPML seems to be "salt_dome_CUBIT_mesh" but I can't
figure out how the CPML layers are practically implemented. I have tried to
implement the PML layer following the procedure in the manual (attached
python script). Specfem recognises the presence of PML (at least the output
says so) but the simulations show strong border reflections (as surfaces
were free). Does anyone have a working example of CUBIT and CPML that I
could use or have a look?
I am using the current stable release. Is there any known issue with this
version and CPML?
Thanks for the help,

Andrea
