[CIG-SHORT] PyLith compiling

Hi, 

I'm currently compiling PyLith on my Apple MacBook Pro. It seems the numpy version fetched by the installer is not up-to-date for the intel computers.
One needs a patch to specify the cpu's type: http://projects.scipy.org/numpy/attachment/ticket/2039/darwin_x86_64.patch
I added it to my version, and it seems to compile correctly. This patch has been included in the "official" numpy version.
