Dear PyLith developers,
I am involved in researches on earthquake and volcano deformations, and I would be very interested in using PyLith for simulating 2D and 3D heterogeneities.
In many cases I approximate the deformation source by means of one or more moment tensor point sources, to make use of Green's functions. I have read (http://www.geodynamics.org/cig/community/workinggroups/short/workarea/planning/priorities2013/pylith) that the introduction of moment tensor point sources via equivalent body forces into PyLith is already planned.
Could you please let me know something about the the present state of this issue?
Thank you in advance for your answer
Regards
Luca Crescentini
