[CIG-SHORT] Pylith-output data of a specified fault node

Dear Ge Li,

I believe that OutputSolnPoints will only provide solution variables (displacement, velocity). If you want fault values you’ll need outputSolnSubset. If it’s too much output to use the entire fault, it’s possible you could subdivide the fault and just output the part you want. This may not work correctly, however, since you’ll need to provide fault edges for each subset.

If it’s not the amount of output that’s the problem, it should be easy to write a Python script to extract the vertex info you need from the fault output. Also, I think there may be a way to do this in Paraview.

Cheers,
Charles
