2017 Crustal Deformation Modeling Tutorial and Workshop
Location
The workshop will be held on the campus of the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado in the Student Center Grand Ballroom (Campus Map Bldg 6). On campus housing is located in Maple Hall (Campus Map Bldg 39), a 3 minute google walk.

Registration
Workshop fees includes conference cost and morning and afternoon snacks. All participants must apply for support for workshop fees.
Travel
We recommend flying into Denver International Airport (DEN) prior to the beginning of the workshop, Sunday, June 25 and departing the afternoon of Friday, June 30.
Travelers can arrange for airport transportation to the following services:

Look for a sign-up list if you want to economize and share rides.
Light Rail. Denver International Airport is connected to Jefferson County Government Center, Golden, CO by light rail. Take the A line to Union Station (lots of good eats here) and transfer to the W line. Jefferson County Government Center is the last stop. Please check website for schedule and fares. A Regional/Airport Day Pass is $9. Use ride share to get to campus. Allow 2 hrs.
Travel support is available for participants from U.S. institutions to cover most of transportation costs. Please apply when registering.
Housing
Participants will be housed on campus at Maple Hall (Campus Map Bldg 39). Dormitory style accommodations are double occupancy with a limited number of singles available. Housing package includes breakfast and lunch at the Mines Market Cafeteria across from Maples Hall. You are on your own for dinner.

Hotels off campus are paid at the travelers own expense.
Wireless
Wireless internet is available throughout campus on the “CSM-guest” network. Open a browser (e.g. go to mines.edu), enter your email address, and agree to the terms.
Driving
Due to construction, beginning Monday, June 12th the eastbound off ramp at US 6 and 19th Street will be closed for 2 weeks.
If you normally drive south on Hwy 93, and exit onto 19th Street, you will need to exit onto Hwy 58 and take the Washington exit into Golden.
Parking
Visitors to campus during operational hours — Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-5 p.m. — should park in the General (blue) and Commuter (yellow) lots. All visitor parking areas have a pay and display parking meter. Please visit the pay stations to receive a parking permit. Pay station meter rates for General (blue) parking are $1.50 per hour or $8 daily; rates for commuter lots are $1 per hour or $5 daily. Metered parking permits must be displayed on your dashboard.
